"Once upon a time, there was a little house on a little hill waaaay out in the country..."
Today in Disney Animation history, we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the 1952 Disney short subject, "The Little House." Based on a children's book by Virginia Lee Burton, the story was adapted by Bill Peet and William Cottrell.
Narrated by Sterling Holloway, it is a cartoon in a style similar to 1952's "Suzie the Little Blue Coupe" also featuring an anthropomorphic cartoon character. This cartoon is one of my favorites from this time period.
