2011 is ending, and 2012 is quickly approaching and I've got some awesome blog posts in the works.
Lets take a look at Disney's film lineup this year. On January 13th, "Beauty and the Beast" will be released theatrically in 3-D with the brand-new short film sequel "Tangled Ever After".
"John Carter" comes out March 9th.
On June 15th, Pixar is releasing the short La Luna...
...in theaters with their 13th film "Brave".
Also this summer, the TV show "Tron: Uprising" will premiere.
ON September 14th, Finding Nemo will be re-released in theaters in 3-D.
On October 5th, Tim Burton has another, um, interesting film. It's "Frankenweenie"...
It is a remake/feature-film version of his 1984 short film of the same name.
Finally, on November 2nd, Disney releases it's new CGI adventure, "Wreck-It Ralph".
At the Disneyland resort, 2012 will start off with a bang with World of Color, elecTRONica and themed fireworks. Here is a video of the celebration last year at Disney California Adventure...
California Adventure saw the completion of the expansion of Paradise Pier last year with the new attractions "The Little Mermaid - Ariel's Undersea Adventure"...
and the re-themed Mulholland Madness attraction "Goofy's Sky School".
The park also saw one big mess...
that led to a brand new entrance...
...and the start of construction on Buena Vista Street...
Which will be the new entrance area of the park. It will open this summer.
Disneyland Park had a "Soundsational" Summer...
with the new parade "Mickey's Soundsational Parade"...
...and "Star Tours: the Adventures Continue" in 3-D.
Next summer, the California Adventure expansion will be complete with the opening of "Cars Land"...
...and "Buena Vista Street".
There are lots of exciting things happening in the world of Disney soon.
This February, Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace will be released in theaters in 3-D.
...and Part 1 of Peter Jackson's The Hobbit Films will be out this December.
In July, Glenn beck is holding his "Restoring Love" event in Dallas, Texas.
THEN, after ALL of that, the world will end in December.
Disneyland may even end up looking something like this...
Lets, uh, sure hope not, but I guess we'll see what happens after the Presidential Election in November...
(Isn't that one of the creepiest pics of him ever?!?!?!?)
Happy (Hopefully) New Year!!!
(End of Line...2011 :)

SO do you know if Beauty and the Beast is JUST going to be in 3D? I would love to see Tangled Ever After, but I REALLY don't have any desire to see a 3D movie, even if it IS my favorite Disney movie. =]
I think that the Lion King was in both 3D and 2D. I don't know what Harkins in Flagstaff will do, but I'm pretty sure that Beauty and the Beast will be in both formats.
