DISNEYLAND 2002 DAY 2

May 23rd 2002, Day 2 of our vacation was the first day we visited Disneyland!!

Here we are seated on the curb, waiting anxiously for the trolley to pick us up and take us to the park. (Ha! I remember when I used to shade my eyes like that...)

We then headed to Mickey's Toontown!

We ALWAYS have to "splash daddy" in the Toontown fountain...

Then we headed over to Mickey's house to explore and meet the big cheese himself!!!

Here's a picture I took of the Matterhorn. We went on this ride next (well, some of us did...)

We also went on the world famous Jungle Cruise, but unfortunately there's no pictures of this. Only video. After the Jungle Cruise, we stopped by the neighboring Adventureland attraction, "Tarzan's Treehouse".

There's no pictures of this either, but we (the kids) got terrified on Pirates of the Caribbean (no flash photography), and then we staked out our spot and watched the magical "Parade of the Stars"

Here, (very roughly) is where we ended our first day at Disneyland on this trip!!! (Post 3, D-Land day 2 coming up!)
